Learning this structure is key to mastering the battlefield.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Four Turn Phases<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each player\u2019s turn proceeds through the following sequence:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Start Phase<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gain <strong>+1 Core Energy (CE)<\/strong> (to a maximum of 3 CE).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>If you are already at 3 CE, gain 1 <strong>Overflow CE<\/strong> (temporary).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Draw <strong>1 Glyphex<\/strong> from your Lexicon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may deploy <strong>1 new Hexmaster<\/strong> adjacent to your Home Base.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Newly deployed Hexmasters <strong>cannot move or act<\/strong> this turn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>[Image Slot 1 \u2014 CE tracker visual + \u201cDeploy Hexmaster\u201d animation]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upgrade Phase<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Spend <strong>1 CE<\/strong> to <strong>attune<\/strong> a Hexmaster with a Glyphex.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Glyphex must be from your hand.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Hexmaster must be <strong>unattuned<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attach the Glyphex to the Hexmaster\u2019s Spindle and set the Focalis to the desired Edict.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may only attune <strong>1 Glyphex per turn.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Strategy Tip: Timing your upgrades is crucial \u2014 early Edicts can change tempo, but late upgrades create power spikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Activate Phase<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose <strong>1 Hexmaster<\/strong> to activate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>That Hexmaster may either:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Move 1 hex<\/strong>, OR<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Use 1 Edict<\/strong> (Basic, Variable, or Class \u2014 if available)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Activation Rules<\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You may only activate <strong>one Hexmaster per turn<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Hexmaster <strong>cannot use the same Variable Edict two turns in a row<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Class Edicts<\/strong> are <strong>once per game<\/strong> \u2014 flip the Focalis window to its blank side after use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">End Phase<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Remove expired effects<\/strong>:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Shielded, Decoy, Rooted, Overflow CE<\/em>, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discard any destroyed Glyphexes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a <strong>Reclaimed<\/strong> Glyphex is destroyed again, move it to the <strong>permanent discard<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Tip: Be aware of CE decay and reclaim limits. Overcommitting too early can cost you key tools later.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Full Turn Example<\/strong> <em>(Optional Accordion or Styled Block)<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Turn Example (Player 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Start Phase:<\/strong> Gains +1 CE (now at 2), draws a Glyphex, deploys their Mage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Upgrade Phase:<\/strong> Spends 1 CE to attune their Rogue with <em>Shatterbind Glyph<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Activate Phase:<\/strong> Activates the Rogue and uses the \u201cBackstab\u201d Edict on an adjacent enemy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>End Phase:<\/strong> Removes the Shielded status from last turn, no overflow to clear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pro Tip Box <em>(Optional Styled Box or Side Callout)<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>One Hexmaster, Infinite Pressure:<\/strong><br>The power of Hexarion isn&#8217;t in how <em>many<\/em> pieces you move \u2014 it&#8217;s <em>when<\/em> you move the right one.
