Use Runed Siglums (status caps) to mark them clearly on the unit.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Effect Duration &amp; Clearing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All status effects last <strong>until the start of that Hexmaster&#8217;s next activation<\/strong> or the <strong>End Phase<\/strong> of your opponent\u2019s turn (whichever occurs first).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shielded is removed <strong>after it prevents one instance of damage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marked is removed <strong>after it increases a single damage effect<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All expired status tokens are removed during the <strong>End Phase<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: Status effects are not blocked by Fortify or Clone Decoy \u2014 they affect the unit regardless of its defense state.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udee1 <strong>Special States &amp; Interactions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fortify<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>\u201cFortify\u201d grants Shielded status<\/strong><br>Fortify itself is not a status \u2014 it is the <strong>action<\/strong> or <strong>Edict<\/strong> that applies Shielded.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clone Decoy<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Blocks all damage for one full turn<\/strong><br>Clone Decoy is not a status, but a protective <em>state<\/em> created by certain Edicts.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Immovable<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Cannot be pushed, pulled, or displaced by effects.<\/strong><br>Used sparingly \u2014 primarily by specific Class Edicts (e.g. <em>Hold the Line<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Overflow CE<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Temporary fourth CE<\/strong><br>Can be gained through special effects (e.g. Resonance Hex), but disappears at the end of your turn.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Strategic Insight<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Status effects in <em>Hexarion<\/em> are how control decks <strong>tempo the board<\/strong>, how trickster builds <strong>stall stronger enemies<\/strong>, and how defenders <strong>gain breathing room<\/strong> without committing damage.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 Want to deny an enemy Edict chain? <strong>Silence.<\/strong><br>\ud83d\udca1 Need to hold a flank? <strong>Root their attacker.<\/strong><br>\ud83d\udca1 Preparing a kill combo? <strong>Mark first.
