Arcshock is the Class Edict of the Mage Hexmaster in Hexarion Conquest. It delivers controlled area-of-effect damage, making it one of the most explosive one-time plays in the game — perfect for punishing clustered enemies or breaking shield lines.
Arcshock – Class Edict (Mage)
Effect:
Deal 1 damage to a target enemy Hexmaster, and 1 damage to each enemy adjacent to it.
Key Properties:
Attribute | Value |
---|---|
Type | Class Edict (once per game) |
Target | Must choose a valid enemy Hexmaster (cannot target empty hexes) |
Area of Effect | Hits all enemy Hexmasters adjacent to the target |
Damage | 1 to the target + 1 to each adjacent enemy |
Friendly Fire | ❌ Does not affect allies |
Self-Damage | ❌ Never damages the activating Mage |
CE Cost | ❌ None — free to use |

Tactical Uses:
- Punish enemy swarms or grouped revives
- Crack through Fortify/Clone Decoy layers (forces multiple shield checks)
- Combo with Mark or Silence for devastating tempo swings
- Use near a Sanctum or Resonance Hex to deny control and resources
Activation Notes:
- Use once per game, then flip the Mage’s Focalis ring to its blank side
- Cannot reuse unless a future effect specifically restores Class Edicts (not currently present in base rules)
Arcshock does not appear on any Glyphex, because it is a Class Edict, not a Variable Edict.
