Disenchant is a Variable Edict that specializes in stripping enemy upgrades — a powerful form of control in Hexarion Conquest.
Disenchant – Edict Definition
Effect:
Destroy the Glyphex on a target enemy Hexmaster. That Hexmaster becomes Unattuned.
Key Properties:
Attribute | Value |
---|---|
Type | Control / Debuff |
Target | Any enemy Hexmaster within range (default: adjacent unless modified) |
Effect | Removes the attached Glyphex |
Aftermath | Targeted Hexmaster can no longer use Variable Edicts or Basic Edicts (except Class Edict if still available) |
CE Cost | ❌ None — free to activate |
Timing | Immediate |
Tactical Notes:
- Highly disruptive — forces opponent to re-attune or fight unattuned
- Pairs well with pressure decks (e.g. Emberclave or Veil-based Orders)
- Counters: Reclaim (if not already used), repositioning to escape, or re-attunement (if CE allows)
Rules Reminder:
- A destroyed Glyphex is sent to the discard pile
- It may be Reclaimed once per game, if not already
- If it has already been Reclaimed, it goes to permanent discard
