Ignite – Edict Definition
Effect:
Deal 1 damage to an enemy Hexmaster up to 2 hexes away, in a straight line.
Obstacles are ignored.

Tactical Uses:
- Hit without engaging — stay out of melee while applying pressure
- Bypass screeners or terrain that would normally block line-of-sight

- Great for softening a target before a follow-up strike or trap play
Rules Clarifications:
- “Straight line” follows standard hex-aligned vectors (like Dash or Long Shot)
- Does not require line-of-sight — it ignores obstacles, not rules
- You still cannot target through walls or off-board areas
