Long Shot is the Class Edict of the Archer Hexmaster in Hexarion Conquest. It delivers precise, long-range pressure — perfect for picking off backline threats, finishing wounded foes, or disrupting key board positions from a safe distance.
Long Shot – Class Edict (Archer)
Effect:
Deal 1 damage to an enemy Hexmaster that is 2–3 hexes away in a straight line.
Key Properties:
Attribute | Value |
---|---|
Type | Class Edict (once per game) |
Range | 2 or 3 hexes |
Direction | Must be in a straight line (no curves or diagonals that break line geometry) |
Target | Must be a valid enemy Hexmaster within line and range |
Damage | 1 |
CE Cost | ❌ None — free to use |
Can be used while Unattuned? | ✅ Yes |
Tactical Uses:
- Snipe a weakened Hexmaster outside of retaliation range
- Apply pressure without breaking formation
- Force an enemy off a Sanctum or Resonance Hex
- Finish a target behind a frontline blocker — as long as the path is clear
Usage Notes:
- Like all Class Edicts, Long Shot can only be used once per game
- After activation, flip the Focalis ring to the blank Class Edict window to mark it spent
- Does not ignore obstacles — cannot shoot through other Hexmasters or blocked paths unless specified by a future upgrade
Long Shot does not appear on any Glyphex, because it’s a Class Edict, not a Variable Edict.
Long Shot – Archer Class Edict
- Exclusive to the Archer Hexmaster
- Activated once per game
- Not tied to or dependent on Glyphexes
- Available whether the Archer is Attuned or Unattuned
How it works:
Source | Type | Appears on Glyphexes? | Reusable? |
---|---|---|---|
Long Shot | Class Edict | ❌ No | ❌ No — once per game |
Like all Class Edicts, Long Shot is selected using the Focalis ring. Once used, the Focalis flips to the blank side, indicating it’s spent.
