Intro
Hexarion is not conquered by chance — it is won through focus, sacrifice, and control.
A match ends the moment one Hexlord loses grip on the battlefield. Your path to victory is not just destruction… it is resonance mastery.
Ways to Win
There are two victory conditions in Hexarion Conquest. You only need to achieve one to win the match immediately.
1. Reduce Your Opponent’s Core Energy to 0
- If your opponent’s Core Energy (CE) is zero at the end of any turn, you win.
- CE is lost primarily by:
- Spending to revive Hexmasters
- Using CE-powered Edicts (e.g. Channel, Drain)
- Careful CE economy is critical — a well-timed Drain or forced revive can end the game instantly.
Pro Tip: Denial strategies that tax CE (like Silence or forced movement) can create lethal pressure without ever landing a blow.
2. Eliminate All Enemy Hexmasters
- If your opponent has no Hexmasters left on the board and none available to deploy or revive, you win.
- This can happen by:
- Defeating their remaining active Hexmasters
- Forcing them to spend their last CE on revival, leaving them defenseless
- Controlling Sanctum access to block revival options
Note: A Hexmaster can be revived only if the player has >1 CE and an open hex on or next to a Sanctum.
Strategic Implications
Victory Type | Style | Common Synergies |
---|---|---|
CE Drain | Control / Attrition | Drain Edict, Reclaim loops, Denial decks |
Total Elimination | Aggro / Pressure | Dash + Push combos, AoE Edicts, Root traps |
Hybrid Pressure | Tactical | CE starvation while forcing unrevivable deaths |
Choosing your path to victory is half the duel. The other half? Making sure your opponent can’t see it coming.
