Hello and Welcome to Hexarion Conquest. A unique, 2-player board game of strategy, tactics and wit!
The Beginning
This game has been a labor of love for us for many years and we’re finally preparing to release it. It started as a digital game concept with an entirely different set of rules, game pieces (back then it was primarily a collectible card game!) and objectives. It’s morphed and changed so much over the years and eventually evolved into what you see here on this site. We abandoned plans to make this a digital game and instead embraced our love of board games, CCGs and strategy games. It has become a game that combines the tactics and strategy of chess, the collectability and deck-building of CCGs and the setting and tone of a fantasy RPG. It’s something truly unique in the world of table-top gaming.
Where We Are Now
Through many iterations, changes, playtests and so much more, the game has grown and evolved and we’re finally gearing up to release it to a broader set of play-testers. Right now we feel the game is decently balanced and we’ve run so many games we’ve lost count. Additionally we’ve run thousands of simulated games to determine rule conflicts, balance issues and so much more.
What Makes Hexarion Conquest so Unique?
It’s a board game.
It’s a collectible/customizable game.
It’s got fantasy RPG elements.
It’s entirely different from any other game you’ve ever played!
But what makes it super-special and unique is that we’re releasing it for FREE (sorta)!
What do you mean it’s FREE?
Well, the game itself is entirely 3D-printable! And we’re releasing the 3D models to print your own version of the game entirely for FREE online (links to the models will be posted on this site when ready!). You can download the files and print your own full set of the game right from your home if you own a 3d printer capable of multi-color printing and you have .4mm and .2mm nozzles available for your printer.
Of course, for those without a 3D printer, we will be selling full sets at a reasonable price as well. These sets will include all necessary game pieces including full base-sets of Glyphexes for two players, the board and the game box. The rules and supplemental materials will always be available right here on the hexarionconquest.com website so players can always access the most up-to-date version of the rules and other relevant information about the game and the world in which it takes place.
